Files are encrypted in the browser with XSalsa20-Poly1305 (libsodium) under a random 256-bit key; content keys are wrapped with a hybrid X25519 + ML-KEM-768 → HKDF → AES-256-GCM construction, so nothing readable ever reaches the server.

Hybrid quantum-resistant key protection (X25519 + ML-KEM-768): a key recorded in transit today still can't be unwrapped by a future quantum adversary. A 2030 deadline, not a someday risk.
